Boy, Act Like You Know God
I took all my college stuff to church last night. Pastor looked over it and told me to take off Friday and Saturday. He said that we were going to leave Thursday after I got off from work and drive to Dorinda to go visit Caffco University. It’s going to be a long drive to Dorinda. I looked at him like he was crazy.I didn’t think I could take the days off from my job. He looked at me and said, “Who is your faith in; God or man? Call your manager and request the days off.” I shook my head and then took his phone and called my job. I talked to the manager on staff. I told him that I needed to take Friday and Saturday off. He said ok. I hung up and looked at my pastor.
I didn’t believe it. If we need to take a day off after the schedule has been made, we are supposed to switch with someone else.
Pastor laughed at me and said, “Boy, act like you know God.”
Pastor is going to meet me at my apartment on Thursday. I don’t know what we are going to do at Caffco. I am not sure what to think about the trip. Hopefully, I won’t make a fool of myself.
