Nothing much happened last week. I got my tests back. I got mostly B's, which was good. I got one C. Oh well.

Sunday Service Was Crazy

Our assistant pastor, Eld. Kevin Davison preached this Sunday. He preached like he this was going to be his last time.

His subject was… Yes, He Died, But He Is Risen…

He had us dancing after he told us about the importance of Christ’s resurrection.

At the end of the altar call, he challenged us to give a Resurrection Offering… He said, “Although we can’t pay Jesus back for what He did on Calvary, let’s show Him our appreciation. Give him the best offering that you can. However grateful you are that Jesus died for you, give an offering to show Him that.”

I dug deep and gave $200. It was awesome. I must have cried like crazy during the service.

Tests and More Tests – P.S. I Got A Girl Now!

I had tests in all of my classes this week. I am tired.

I hung out with Lisa and her parents. On Saturday, we went to the park. Some of their family members were there, too. It was cool.

Like an idiot, I started missing my family. I walked off so that no one would see me crying. Lisa’s grandmother saw me walk off and came over to me. She asked, “Boy, why you over here by yo’self?” I told her why. She said, “Chile, please. We all miss family from time to time. It’s alright. Now come walk this old lady back over yonder.” Lisa saw me holding her grandmother’s arm. Lisa asked her grandmother, “Are you trying to steal my man?” Her grandmother said, “He ain’t tell me he was yo’ man.” All of us laughed. It was cool.

I drove Lisa home after the picnic. I took the long way home. I gave her this bracelet that I had bought for her. She smiled. I asked her to be my girl. She said, “Yes.” I was happy.

I got a girl now!!!!!

Application To Ylaya College

I talked to my counselor at Briscoe County Community College. She told me to submit an application to Ylaya College in Freling. Briscoe is a feeder school to Ylaya College. I did it. I felt lead to submit an application to the college. I will see what happens.

I still want to go to Caffco University.
